PCS7V6.1已是一个好几年前的版本，现在很多新的硬件在驱动程序库里都都找不到，需要进行硬件驱动程序库升级安装。可在SIEMENS公司网站上直接下载组态硬件库更新。方法如下：
1、首先打开项目的“HWConfig”（硬件组态管理器）。点击菜单项“Option”→“InstallHWUpdates”。
2、先在弹出的“InstallHWUpdates”询问框中，点击“OK”按钮后，又在弹出的“Settings”对话框中先点击“OK”按钮，再在“Settings”询问框中，点击“Yes”按钮，即最终弹出组态硬件库更新操作窗口“InstallHWUpdates”。
3、在硬件库更新操作窗口“InstallHWUpdates”中，可选择“downloadfromInternet”（从Internet网络下载），或“Copyfromdisk”（从磁盘中已有的组态硬件库文件包里复制），这两种方式更新组态硬件库。
4、如果选择“DownloadfromInternet”方式，可能下载等待时间较长；如果选择“Copyfromdisk”方式，更新操作时间短，但你电脑里必需要有最新的组态硬件库文件包。
